Edo Queens of Nigeria have advanced to the semi finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifier, where they will face host team Inter D’Abidjan. Inter D’Abidjan secured their spot in the semi finals with a stunning 4-2 against Togo’s AS Kozah in their final group match in Bouaké.

Despite trailing 3-0 at halftime, Inter D’Abidjan turned the game around with a remarkable second half performance. Esperance Cousso Agbo led the charge with a hat trick, and Melissa Sandrine Behinan added a fourth goal to seal the victory. With this result, Inter D’Abidjan finished second in Group A behind Benin's Ainonvi FC.

In Group B, Edo Queens secured maximum points, topping the group with a 1-0 win over AS Enticelles of Burkina Faso in their final group match. They will now face Inter D’Abidjan in the semi finals.

Meanwhile, defending champions Hassacas Ladies of Ghana were eliminated from the competition, despite a 6-1 win over AS Garde of Niger. The elimination of the Ghanaian side means a new champion will be crowned this year, with the semi finals set to feature Edo Queens vs. Inter D’Abidjan and Ainonvi FC vs. AS Enticelles. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
