Jett Kenny has revealed that his late sister Jaimi was with him when he and girlfriend Lily Brown filmed the new season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition.

The 30-year-old and his love had taken a portion of Jaimi's ashes with them, to scatter gcash login in exotic locations around the world.

It's a tribute that Jett's mum, Lisa Curry, began after Jaimi in 2020, having herself already left some of the ashes at the top of Mount Kosciuszko and other locations.

'Jaimi was with us the whole time,' Jett explained to the Daily Telegraph.

'It was Mum's idea which was pretty cool because whenever she goes travelling she takes some of Jaimi's ashes and spreads them around the world' he continued.

'Having her in our backpacks meant she went to a few more places she's never been before.'

Lily chimed in: 'It was like she was our guardian angel'.

Jett's world was shattered in September 2020, when Jaimi died at the age of 33 after battling alcoholism and an eating disorder.

'How I would deal with the grief is different compared to how mum deals with it. Obviously as a parent, that's not something you'd never want to go through,' the SAS Australia star previously told The Daily Telegraph.

Jett, whose father is Ironman Grant Kenny, said he copes with grief by rationalising his tragic loss as 'something part of life', and reminding himself that 'these things do happen.'

'Obviously we have times where some days are harder than others, especially around birthdays, Easter and Christmas,' he added.

The Kenny-Curry family announced Jaimi's death on social media on September 15 2020, one day after her passing.

'Our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital yesterday morning with her loving family by her side,' Jaimi's mother, Lisa Curry, wrote at the time.

Back in 2021, Jett told HIT Queensland's Breakfast with Cliffo & Gabi Jaimi was struggling with her mental health even when she seemed happy.

'It's behind closed doors [people struggle], it's not really a public conversation. It was the same for our family,' he said.

'When Jaimi was out in public it was all sunshine and rainbows, but with that comes the dark clouds and the storms. It's hard because you don't truly understand,' he added.

'You can do everything you can for that person, but in the end it comes down to that person wanting to help themselves. It's an unfortunate situation.'
