The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences.
