The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can also remove wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and mop Vacuum robot it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
