The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
