It also performs better of vacuuming floors with no carpet and picking up pet hair, but it can't perform as well on low- or high-pile carpet.

It's also not as sturdy as the Roborock S8, but it is still a very solid alternative. The ION XL is a powerful machine that has a large capacity bin. It is controlled by an app or voice command and is easy to maintain. It also has a reasonable price.
