How a Jaguar Smart Key Works

Jaguar smart key enables you to lock and unlock your vehicle from a distance. Like all electronic devices, it is powered by a battery.

If your Smart Key battery is beginning to fail, your car might indicate this with a decrease in the effective range of its signals. The message center could also show the alert "SMART KEY BATTERY LOW".

Keyless Entry
