The Combo j7+ takes the fantastic Roomba J7 vacuum and puts the wet mopping feature. The smart robot cleans up sticky messes and spills while avoiding obstacles, and then returns to its dock at the conclusion of its cleaning cycle. It's a great choice for homes with hard floors. It can also be used to clean rugs or tiles with mixed surface areas.

The Combo J7+, as all Roomba models, is great at sucking up dirt. PrecisionVision and iRobot OS help the robot to navigate more effectively. It can steer clear of typical objects, like cords and pet messes. The iRobot Combo j7+ is able to avoid furniture, like tall chairs with backs which could catch the robot under them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ realizes that it's in a place that needs to be cleaned using water, a small robot arm is raised and swivels a mopping pad under it. It was a highly intuitive system that performed during my testing. It was not able to get rid of water-based liquids such as juice or wine. The mopping pad is washed and reused.

The iRobot Combo's front camera is also quite useful. It can spot dangers such as power cords or pet waste and avoid them to ensure thorough cleaning. This is superior Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty to most robot vacuums' cameras, which may get stuck on items like rug tassels. It is worth noting that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is susceptible to blind spots, and can be unable to see certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ is expensive, however it performs adequately enough to justify the cost. It has a good score from customers, and they like its smart features. However, it's worth considering alternatives, such as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's cheaper than the iRobot Combo h7+, and it is able to respond to voice commands without the need for third-party integration. It also mop and vacuum in one go. Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision

The Scout RX3 Home Vision robot vacuum and mop is a full-featured robot vacuum with all the smart features you'd expect from the top brands. You can remotely monitor your home via its camera and even see it work via the app (though the app doesn't offer the high-resolution image quality that you get from the camera).

The mops do an excellent job of cleaning tiles, wood, and carpets, and also removing dust, dirt, and pet hair. They feature an effective obstacle avoidance system that doesn't push light, small objects like toys or socks across the floor. It's among the best mopping robots we've ever tested. It comes with a magnetic strip that can be used to block off areas the robot isn't able to reach, such as rooms with a lot of cables.

The robot is lacking in other features that are expected from the type of robot it is. The mop is excellent however, their maximum run-time of 60 minutes is lower than we would like to see in a product with this price. It doesn't even vacuum after a mopping session, or automatically empty its charging station.

It's still an excellent choice for those with big homes, since the cleaning and mapping process are quick and efficient. The app is easy to use, and you can set up schedules for when it will be working. If you don't have a strong WI-FI connection, you can manage it using the remote or via voice integrations with Alexa.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision might be expensive, but its many smart features make up for it. Live monitoring of homes is fantastic, and it looks pretty cool as well. It's a great option for those with pets, young children, or just would like to keep an eye on their home even when they're away. The majority of people who own a robot mop and vacuum combo are amazed by the difference their floors make after using them often.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's newest robot vacuum and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty mop combo self-empty, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon) is a great upgrade over the previously excellent S6 and S7 models. It adds a host of useful features, such as more aggressive mopping as well as higher-powered suction (up to 5,100Pa compared to earlier models' 2,400Pa). It also features precise lidar navigation, which functions as radar in 3D, meaning it can see things like baseboards, chairs, and furniture legs to expertly navigate around them. It can also create customized cleaning routines that you start by pressing for example, an "After Meals mode" which systematically vacuums and scrubs the kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has a special feature not found on other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plate when it detects carpeting so it doesn't let area rugs get wet and makes mopping more efficient. It also features a deep-cleaning mode that vacuums and mops carpets in a single pass cleaning more dirt and dust than spinning mops can. The app can be used to schedule weekly cleanings, or to clean on demand.

The S7 Max Ultra is a great device for its intended purpose, but it does have certain drawbacks. The most important is the price. It's also the most expensive robotic mop and vacuum combination I've ever seen. The other issues are less specific to this model but are more indicative of the robotic vacuum category as a whole It's not able to handle large spills or large sticky messes well.

The S7 Max Ultra is easy to set up: simply connect it and then sync it to your phone via Wi-Fi and then begin a clean-up. Once you've completed that, you can customize the settings of the app, such as setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Another big bonus is its impressive obstacle avoidance system. In testing, it only got stuck twice in tight areas, which is better than the S6 MaxV's three tries and the X1 Omni's four attempts. The app allows you to mark an object as a temporary obstacle, and the S7 Max Ultra will ignore it when cleaning in the future.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is a unique robot that combines mops and vacuums. It's also one of the more affordable robots that we've reviewed. The Freo is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a combination cleaner. Its outstanding cleaning capabilities, as well its wide array of options for customization make it a great option. The lack of advanced obstacle-avoidance technology, as well as a sleek mobile application has dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

You can interact with the robot by using an LCD touchscreen on its base station, but we preferred to control it via the app on your smartphone.

The app has many settings to customize the Freo's behavior, including schedules for rooms with a lot of traffic, spot cleaning, and the option to turn on the parental lock. You can also select the length of time that the Freo is drying its mop pads, and set preferences for how often it cleans its bin. You can also specify a maximum size for the trash bin.
