The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top buy robot vacuum vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and best robot vacuum and mop combo books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top rated robot vacuum-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're away from home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
