The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, robot vacuum we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot vacuum brands is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
