The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home robot vacuum efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's items that need to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum cleaner known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests.
