Super Tight is an exhibition that explores techniques for living closely and reveals the pleasure as well as the difficulty that result from the dense occupants of cities that are large. It grew from a common fascination with urbanisms that are extremely dense, and particularly those of Asian cities. It also grew out of anxieties about density that have marked noticeable affluent western (particularly Australian) cities.

This immersive exhibition brings together a variety of practitioners who are creating artistic spaces within the restricted urban spaces. Studio Wasabi (Rafael Balboa & Yasemin Shiner, Architects from Tokyo); Atelier Bow-Wow, (Timothy MacDonald and Jodie Gibson Architects from Sydney); Taishin Shiozaki Laboratory, (Tohru Horiguchi & Yoko Onishi Architects from Osaka) and Tomito Architecture, (Tomito ito & Miho Tominaga Architects Super Tight was curated by Graham Crist & John Doyle and was produced in collaboration with RMIT Design Hub Gallery & Open House Melbourne.

Super Skin
