The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the click of one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away when it encounters one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is beneficial for Vacuum mop Robot cleaner those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum mop robot cleaner that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the shark ion robot vacuum vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
