The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ Bissell smartclean robot vacuum vacuum is one of the best robot vacuum for carpet and hardwood-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the click of the button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other samsung robot vacuum cleaner vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and bissell smartclean robot vacuum carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
