The i3+ EVO has weaker obstacle avoidance capability than the other robots that we evaluated. It frequently ran into objects like pet toys, handbags, and even shoes before continuing its path. It also had trouble dealing with salt that was coarse that it blew over and around instead of picking up.

The i3+ EVO has a lot of features that make it worth the additional cost compared to other Roomba models, including the ability to empty the dustbin automatically and advanced control through the app. It is possible to schedule cleanings, create specific routines and set no-go zones for areas you don't want the robot to be allowed to enter.
